Fly high and soar with the eagles, watch over us all. You will be missed so much by many. So glad you are not hurting anymore and went home. We will all meet again one day. You will always be in our hearts.

Rest In Peace papa I will always love you with everything and ik your in a way better place rn and now you can actually see me grow up and become and great successful woman and mother like ik you want me to be I will always remember all the memories we had I am very upset at my mom that I wasn't able to give you my last goodbye bc if she never messed up and ruined a lot of my childhood i would have been able to spend lots more time with you and only if mama knew how much you meant to me I wish she could've just been a normal person and not have to make it all about herself and actually cared for her children and I wish you could of realized how much people actually love you but anyways I love you papa always and forever ❤️

Sorry to hear. I remember when Papa used to take us to visit him and his family when we were little. Papa's mother, my great grandmother, was a Gaulding, so we are related. Heartfelt sympathy to the family. I know he is at peace in Heaven now. May God comfort his family during this time.

So sorry for the family. We had a lot of adventures with Cousin Allan when Linda (Adams-Keefe) and I were much younger. Such as the bull chasing us on his family farm when we were little kids. He saved me and Linda from that crazy bull!! Lots of memories of him visiting Grandma and Grandpa Ward too! Havent seen him in many years, but will miss him just the same.

Alan, things in life right now have been insane and I HATE that I was not able to make it to Clarkes Funeral Home to show my respects to you publicly. But I also noticed you didn't want a full-on service and so that makes me feel a little better that I can take my time in commemorating your importance and impact on my life, as well as how much I will miss you and always remember you. To be honest, I haven't wanted to face the reality that you're gone, so I haven't done my commemoration yet, but hopefully I'll be ready soon. I just felt the need to at least comment here that I will never forget you and appreciate all the ways you impacted my life! To be honest, I'm glad you're free of pain though! HOOOLD ON TO IT! :)

Alan Ward Gaulding, 68, of Bracey, VA and formerly of Victoria, VA passed away Feb. 15, 2021.
