Cindy, I didn't have the pleasure of knowing your Mom, but after reading her obituary I can see she was an amazing & giving person. I'm praying for you and your family, and happy in knowing that your Mom is resting in the arms of our Lord.

So sorry to learn of Mrs. Marker's passing. Many camping trips as a young scout and much learned from this wonderful woman.

Mamá Betty will live on in our hearts forever until we see her in Heav'n again. We praise God she is able to breathe in that fresh Resurrection air and not suffering anymore. My love to her beautiful family that has considered us part of their family. We wish we could be with you to hug each of you. On behalf of the hundreds of Hispanics she loved and taught-- GRACIAS y vaya con Dios, Maestra!!

I only met Betty a few times, but I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her each time. As she shared parts of her life with me, it was inspirational. I saw that her life story was one made up of a lot of hard work such as taking her firstborn, as a baby, out to fields to be able to keep working! Yet, an even bigger part of her life story was her deep love for her family and her God!I'm proud to have her as part of my grandson's legacy!!
