Clarence Edward “Peter” Perkins, 65, of Dundas, VA joined his family in Heaven on June 5, 2023. He was the son of the late Edward H. “Bookie” Perkins and Rachel Daniel Perkins. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Connie N. Perkins; his sons, Matt Perkins of Dundas and Brad Perkins (Cara) of Goochland. He was granddaddy to Billie Jane and

Carlin Ann both of Goochland; also surviving is his mother-in-law, Marjorie W. Newcomb of Rehoboth; brothers-in-law, Eddie Newcomb (Doris) of Appomattox and Bobby Newcomb (Sandra) of Chase City; sister-in-law Peggy Ashworth (Ray) of Victoria; cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Peter graduated from Central High School and was former owner of Perkins Sawmill. He was a member of Perseverance Christian Church.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, and in his younger days softball and he valued the friendships made along the way. The family will receive friends Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge from 2pm until start of services at 3pm and at all other times at the home. Interment in the Perkins Family Cemetery, Dundas. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Kenbridge Fire Department or to Perseverance Christian Church in Dundas.
