Louise Mayton Smith, 89, of Kenbridge, Va. joined her family in Heaven on August 23, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Lou Mayton; her husband, Robert Samuel Smith; her son, Robert Samuel “Smitty” Smith, Jr; a grandson, Larry Ray “Rooster” Prue and a granddaughter, Erica Michelle Daniel; three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Larry Prue; granddaughter, Virginia P. Tripp, great-grandchildren, Robbie Daniel, Tiffany Guilliams, Cody Prue and caregiver and great-granddaughter, Samantha Prue; 9 great-great grandchildren. Louise was a faithful and devoted member of Light of Hope Baptist Church in Blackstone.  She enjoyed her church and spending time with her family. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, from 2PM until start of services at 3PM. Interment in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery.
