As I went on my prayer walk this morning, I could feel Martha's presence with me. We got to laughter, love, and remember....just the two of us....precious moment! Martha Ann, I hold you near; we were always knitted heart to heart. I love you and I know it will not be long until we meet again. Let Edward feel your presence as I do, he needs that right now! 💔

My thoughts, prayers and love go out to Edward and the family. Martha was a second mother to me and she was such a true friend to my mother. Many, many good memories and times with her.

Hard to express how I feel. Martha and I have been close friends for 44 years. We have helped each other through so many happy and sad times with laughter and love. Heaven has a beautiful angel. Save me a place on a float in the pond. Love you!

A sad loss of a sweet, kind woman. She was fun an enjoyable to visit with, easy to talk to and had a sense of humor. I know it's a loss to Lee, family members and friends. She will be missed however, Martha will always remain in our thoughts, with fond memories.

Martha my beautiful stepmom. Thank you Martha for loving my Dad and being my stepmom. I will miss our phone conversations and our yearly visits. Oh how we both loved our animals and being country girls. My heart aches for your presence and your beautiful smile. I love and miss you very much. Dad will never be the same without you. We will treasure all the years, and memories of you Martha, being in our lives.

Martha was one of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever met. She was family and I loved getting to see her even though the times were few and far between. "A purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved." ― Kurt Vonnegut

I learned a lot working with Martha during my duty as Fort Pickett PMO. She was not only superb at her work, but also was the confidant of many, myself included. Martha mentored all of us, and we were better for that. Rest in Peace, Martha.
