Sue F. Still, 90, of Victoria, Va. went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen F. Fentress and Marie Ayers Fentress; her husband, Earnest B. “Buddy” Still; her sister, Marybelle F. Lufkin and longtime friend, Everett Gee, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Fitts, Laura Still, Diana S. Holsinger (Phil) and Mary S. King (Albert); her grandchildren, Michael Fitts (April), Jessica Talton, Megan Holsinger, Jacob Holsinger and Jack Holsinger; and numerous great-grandchildren. Sue graduated from Granby High School in Norfolk, Va. and retired, after many years of service, as treasurer for Town of Victoria. She loved all animals. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading and going to the beach. The family will receive friends Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 6:30 to 8PM at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria. Sue was a devoted member of the Victoria United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 2PM. Interment to follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Victoria United Methodist Church, C/O Pastor Randy Kiel, 1605 Tenth Street, Victoria, Va. or to the Southside SPCA, C/O Ray Elliott, 797 Starlight Lane, Kenbridge, Va. 23944.
