A hard working family man who gave life his all; You will be missed by many, Billy! Only God knows best for us;so peace and comfort comes from that and good memories. Will always remember that day when Karen and I saw you in Kohls parking lot waiting for Lillian to come out the store. Wonderful, light-hearted conversation that day! :) Love and peace, Lisa & David, and family

Dear Lillian, Stephanie, and Steve, I am heartbroken to learn the sad news. I admired Billy so much for his strength in the face of adversity and his warm heart. He gave inspiration and fun to those of us at Maymont who loved him. And he loved his work--whatever it happened to be. The mornings when I met him when we were walking in to work, he had a lightness in his step and we always shared a laugh. I'd ask "how you doing, Billy?" and often even in later years, he'd say "I feel like a young colt!" It always lifted my spirit to see him. My son Barrow, my husband Herbert and I will always treasure our memories of Billy. They join me in extending our deepest sympathy to you all. Dale

Billy loved his family, friends and his community with his whole heart! He was a model of what a Christian should be in this world! There was never a harder worker or more selfless man. He will be missed by many! Stephanie, your Daddy is so proud of you and what you have done with your life!

Billy taught me the three things we all must put stock in. Friends, Family, and the Good Lord. He would remind me of this every time I saw him by simply holding up his three fingers and giving me that look. Billy shared his love of tractors and the land with me. I am eternally grateful that he taught me about equipment and never once ridiculed me for my ignorance or spoke a negative word about anyone. A true man of faith who walked the walk. We will miss you here on earth but I know the Lord has called you home my friend. Many blessings Billy.

I'm so sad to hear of Billy's passing. Out of all of my many interesting friends on this earth, Billy and Mike were 2 of my favorites. I'm thankful and proud to have known both of them
