Julie will forever be in my heart. From the first time I met her on her mother's bus route to babysitting her and CJ. Late night movies and early morning cartoons, Julie kept me on my toes. I will forever cherish the memories she gave me. To Ed, Kim, Rita, CJ and her children I'm so sorry your time with her wasn't longer. Keep her memories alive and she will always be with you. Love to you all.

Julie Ann Marshall, 30, of Victoria, VA

On December 1, 2018, Julie Ann Marshall was welcomed into eternal peace in Heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Julie’s vibrant heart and love of life shined bright to all who knew her.

Julie’s internal and external beauty was one of grace, mercy, and love. Julie loved all and met no stranger. She prided herself first in her children and then in her family, home-cooked meals, singing, the outdoors, and hunting. Julie’s curiosity for learning and understanding more about God and His creation filled her days until her last breath.

She is survived by her daughter Nevaeh A. Reeves (age 11) and son Muraco A. Reeves (age 7) of Crewe, VA; father Edwin L. Marshall, Jr. (Kim) of Victoria, VA; mother Rita A. Evans of Drakes Branch, VA; brother Curtis F. Marshall (Robin) of Bedford, VA; nieces Rhiley and Constance Marshall, and furry brother Scruffy. Julie will continue to be loved by her friends and family, including her grandmother Iris C. Martin; uncles Robert E. Marshall (Tanya), Charles W. Evans, David L. Evans (Tina), Johnny N. Evans (Denise), and Alfred A. Evans, Jr.; aunt Wanda E. Hudson (Raymond); and numerous cousins.

Services will be held at Staples Funeral Home in Victoria, VA on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with interment following at Tussekiah Baptist Church cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Staples Funeral Home. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the “Edwin L. Marshall, Jr. FBO The Reeves Children” fund at Benchmark Community Bank.
